All Tureberg Tandvård & Medicin Center treatments follow a detailed pre-treatment consultation. Your consultation starts with a detailed recording of your medical history. Then your practitioner will discuss of the look you wish to achieve and conduct a careful examination of your face.
If you decide to proceed then the practitioner will cleanse the skin, apply anaesthetic and cold compression before the B-Tox injections are placed directly into the muscle areas which you have decided to have treated. The needle used is also extremely fine and most clients experience only minimal discomfort, if at all.
The B-Tox injections takes about 20 minutes. It is important to be aware that it takes between 5-7 days* for the treatment to work. You can carry on with your day as normal immediately after leaving the clinic, although it is important not to massage or rub the areas after treatment and avoid anything strenuous for 24 hours such as going to the gym. Following the treatment, there may be minimal redness and bruising is uncommon. Side effects of anti-wrinkle injections are rare. It is one of the safest non-surgical cosmetic procedures available. However, there is the possibility of the treatment being dispersed into an adjacent muscle which can cause a temporary weakness such as drooping of the upper eyelid.
