How Are Skin Boosters Are Administered?

All Tureberg Tandvård & Medicin Center treatments follow a detailed pre-treatment consultation. Your consultation starts with a detailed recording of your medical history. Then your practitioner will examine your medical history and
advise whether a skin boosters treatment is appropriate for you.

If you decide to proceed then the practitioner will explain which skin boosters option is best for your requirements and what would be the end result after the procedure.

The treatment consists in performing microinjections across the dermis, so that hyaluronic acid and the Dermo-Restructuring Complex are spread evenly into the skin. Three sessions at three week intervals are recommended for optimal cutaneous re-densification. Two to three sessions per year are recommended to maintain the effects of the treatment.

The procedure usually takes about 30 minutes and the results are mainly visible after three sessions*.

The treated area should be left alone for 48 hours to settle down. Immediately after treatment it is quite normal for there to be slight redness, swelling and tenderness
around the treated area. Occasionally some bruising may occur around the treated area; this is usually short term and will subside within a few days.

Until the initial swelling or redness has resolved it is recommended that you do not use any make up for 12 hours following the treatment. It is
also recommended not to use sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and avoid extreme temperatures.
