VENEERS
Veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped porcelain that fits over your natural tooth, covering imperfections such as crowding and severe staining. Veneers are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a charming and attractive smile. Porcelain Veneers can often be alternatives to dental crowns and the ideal solution in treating many dental conditions such as chipped or crooked teeth.

What Does Getting Porcelain Veneers Involve?
Usually, getting veneers requires two visits to complete the whole process, with little or no anaesthesia needed during the procedure. During the visit, your dentist might need to remove any damage or causes for concern, or remove some of your natural tooth’s material to allow the new porcelain cover to fit perfectly.
On the second visit, you dentist will clean the teeth with special liquid to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then arranged between the tooth and veneer and a special light beam is applied to harden and set the bond.
You dentist will give you care instructions for veneers. But, like you own teeth they can be damaged thus proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will assist in the life of your new veneers.
